It's kinda cool how with each trip to Tokyo, it has become less and less like a 'holiday' and it's more like we're just 'living' in Tokyo for a few days. It was my first time shooting in Tokyo so I spent more time out on the streets than anywhere else which was good cos it meant I wasn't spending money but window shopping instead, plus I enjoyed meeting lots of stylish people on the streets! Some shots out of a typical day for us in Tokyo (top to bottom): Harajuku Station on the Yamanote Line which we rode every morning from Shinjuku, Harajuku St, shops and people around Ura-Harajuku (back streets of Harajuku), sitting out in the morning sun people-watching, afternoon sun outside Ralph Lauren (a popular spot for streetstyle photographers to hang out and get photos), one of many streetstyle photographers that lined the main street, me taking a streetstyle photo!, a view from the bridge in Omotesando Hills on a walk around in the afternoon sun, and us taking photos of our reflections in shop windows.
And that's pretty much what we did each day as well as make frequent visits to the convenience stores to grab our favourite Onigiri, crispy chicken fillets, croquettes, and hot japanese tea. 6 days in Tokyo have come and gone just like that! Don't you wish sometimes that time actually slowed down when you're having fun?
