Happy Holidays!

As 2012 comes to an end, it's time to reflect on what has been an amazing (and somewhat surreal) year for us. With time spent living in Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul, I have so many great memories of our time in each city. From spending a stinkin' hot summer riding our bikes around the streets of Tokyo, to attending our very first Seoul Fashion Week in South Korea, to finally trying Din Tai Fung in Taipei (I can't believe it took 5 trips before I did this!), to spending our first Christmas in Tokyo (and my first Christmas in Winter), plus so much more... it has truly been a year to remember. I've met some amazing people along the way who have become friends, eaten some amazing food and taken some street style photographs that I really really do love. I always admire people who manage to incorporate a bit of DIY into their outfits, especially when they do such an amazing job at it. Like Jeong Yeon here, who took a simple red coat (owned by her mother for over 20 years) and reworked it into something quite unique and interesting to look at. That is some skills right there and I love the whole shape and cut. I definitely want to better my tailoring skills once we settle down and I get my sewing machine back!

This one was easily one of my favorite shows from Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2013! The colors were amazing as was the combination of soft black leather and prints. I particularly love this first look, it's totally wearable, clean, sophisticated and striking all at the same time. One more day to go of SFW before we begin to round up our stay in Seoul.
